The Rainbow Bridge - loss of a beloved pet
We hope this poem will help to soothe some pain caused by the death of a beloved cat, kitten or any other pet The Rainbow Bridge
Creation has begun a circling tide; Retrieving and restoring Or abandoning, ignoring; but always Succors each and every one of us in Stride. Into this world is born many grateful things Never asking or demanding a Great amount of love, There we find some answers to things: Heaven sends us messages from above. Eventually, we find ourselves at loss, and Reaching out for those who may have left. And, out there, is a Rainbow Bridge that's Incrementally crossed Never quite in sight, But there, Over those who are bereft. When we find ourselves left barren By a soul that's been recalled. Remember that we have high above, an Integral, solid link to those that Death has caused to walk across that Great Expanse that has given us unconditional love
To Love Again
Oh what unhappy twist of fate
Has brought you homeless to my gate,
The gate where once another stood
To beg for shelter warmth and food?
For from that day I ceased to be
The master of my destiny,
While she, with purr and velvet paw
Became within my house the law.
She scratched the furniture and shed
And claimed the middle of my bed,
She ruled in arrogance and pride
And broke my heart the day she died.
So if you really think, oh cat
I'd willingly relive all that,
Because you come forlorn and thin
Well don't just stand there - come on in!

The Snowflake
by Charity Joy BellA petal
A rose
From heaven
Silently it falls
Onto your life
Touching you
With its tender
Caress
Then just as soon as
You feel it on your
Skin
Its gone
A snowflake
A single flake of snow
From heaven
Silently it falls
Onto your life
Touching you
With its tender
Promises
Then just as soon as
You feel it on your
Skin
Its gone
A raindrop
The rain
From heaven
Silently it falls
Onto your life
Touching you
With its tender
Feelings
Then just as soon as
You feel it on your
Skin
Its gone
Oh god in heaven
Why do you bless us
With a caress
With a promise
With a feeling
If they are
To flutter away
To melt away
To disappear
Oh God
My God
Show me where
The roses bloom
In thousands
Manifold
Show me where
The snowflakes gather
In the mountains
Far untold
Show me where
The raindrops form
Wells lakes rivers oceans
Where do they unfold?
God
Give me back my baby
Her soul to me
Bring back
I am humbled
That I pray
The ground may have her body
But her soul
To me
