pure silk hearts in gold and silver

Pure silk hearts spun by silkworms are a very special gifts of pure love to all ages.  The silk hearts make lovely bookmarks.

For the teenager girls.    Soak the cocoons (after the moth hatched)  in warm water.  When the cocoon is soft take a needle or anything handy, put it through the silk cocoon a little way from the hole that the moth made and stretch (pull).   Move the needle a bit further and pull untill you have a long thick thread.  Plait or role these threads to make a lovely golden band around your neck. (arm or where you want it).
