These photos are for the pleasure to look at the aloe plants, not an identification guide. Aloes tend to hybrid, even in the wild, and colors may vary in different regions. These photos  represent only a small section of our plants - see the seedlist for more information on each aloe.

This aloe grows to 3 meters high branching as it gets older. The raceme on this plant is approximately one meter (3'3") long.

Aloe ciliaris is a small climbing aloe. It climbs by sending long stems into bushes.  (the aloe's racemes are in the senter of the photo) This is a treat for the nectar loving sun birds as they love the flowers of both plants.
