Samoa Gem's American Curls Cats  &  Kittens

This breed is known for their unique ears. 
These kittens are a pleasure to raise.   They are easy to groom,  healthy,  lively and not neurotic.
The American Curl is a new breed with strong genes.  It is up to the humans to select strong healthy cats as breeders.
Breeding for perfect curl ears is very difficult.  Exactly how it is inherited is not clear .
Supreme parents may give pet quality offspring and a cat with a bad curl may give supreme kittens.
Choose healthy parents with a good body  and take it from there.
If your sire gives a high percentage ear faults with more than one female then you will have to
breed with another male even if your sire happen to have a supreme pedigree.
Resist the temptation to breed with one sire or dam as a negative trait might not show up in the first generation and
by the time it is obvious the fault may be wide spread.
