about us grow South Afican Aloes from seeds

We are currently residing in Moorreesburg, a small town 100km north of Cape Town, (click for the map) where we are cultivating aloes seeds from various aloes, fatplants and other succulent plants from Africa.

Our more than 80 different aloe species and hybrids include the favourites like A.marlothii, A.ferox, A.maculata as well as the winter rainfall aloes like A.mitriformis, A.framesii and plicatillis.

Making our own hybrids is an added challenge with very good results.

We hope that our seeds bring you the joy that we have with this wonderful gift of nature.

Where we live in Moorreesburg, South Africa.

Winter	Summer

No, I did not make a mistake with the seasons.... Moorreesburg falls in the winter rainfall area, resulting in mild green winters and dry hot summers. The snow covered mountains in the background (photo left) are much further inland, the temperature do not drop to freezing point in Moorreesburg.

Our home in Moorreesburg South Africa. We live in a dry hot summer area therefore most of the 3500sq meter garden is planted with succulents to save water.
