Trees designed by nature new photos of trees in the desert.

If you love trees here are a few photos of natural trees shaped by nature

if you love bonsai trees, these natural tree styles  would be lovely in bonsai form  and more tree photos on my tree blog

Some of the tree photos were taken in the Etosha game reserve in Namibia, where the harsh climate, elephants and other animals shaped the tree styles. new  March 2006 we added some tree photos from the southern part of Namibia, near Sossusvlei.  Here the desert climate and sand storms shaped the tree styles.

To those people who feel bonsai are not natural - the best bonsai trees are in nature. Centuries ago people decided not to strip nature of these prescious trees, but to make their own small bonsai trees.   I am not going to go into detail,   there are many web sites on Bonsai.

The perfect balance created by nature in these natural  trees can be an inspiration to Bonsai tree growers.
