| The Mesembryanthemaceae(known as mesembs) have more than 1000
species. Mesembs come in a wide range of shapes and
sizes, but most have colorful flowers, a very good choice for color. The plants
species vary in shape and size from large or small bushes, crawling, trailing or clumps
something to fit into any space. |

| Here are a few caudiciform plants and succulent
plants with colorful flowers or interesting leaves, which have the same needs as the
aloes in the water saving garden.

| There are many other succulent and caudiciform plants that are excellent
companions in the aloe water saving garden. |
| The aloe and succulent garden is easy to care for. Good
drainage is essential; as is - humus, basic soil, and old manure. |
