The rosette is usually 30cm in diameter, but this aloe can grow to 40cm. dia. in good garden conditions. Aloe aristata likes shade which is one of the reasons that it grows so well as a potted plant. |
| Aloe aristata is well known as an indoor and container plant in many countries outside South Africa. It can withstand a wide variety of conditions - heat, cold, water, drought, this little aloe will just hang in there. However A.aristata does not bloom readily indoors unless it receives some sun or strong light. |
