Aloe comosa from   South Africa is

a blue tree aloe with a very long inflorescence of pink flowers

Aloe comosa is a tree aloe growing to  2 meters   high with a  3 meter inflorescence.
This succulent aloe  grows in a winter  rainfall area.  Rainfall is very low and summers are hot.
Aloe comosa is not a difficult aloe to grow in a summer rainfall area with a low rainfall or in a pot with good drainage protected from summer rain.
Light frost occur in winter in the region where Aloe comosa grows, but this aloe grows mainly on slopes where the cold air will not remain for long.

The blue Aloe comosa plants contrast nicely with the green plants in a garden setting.  The two plants at my feet are small compared to the very large inflorescens they produced.  Aloe comosa blooms from a young age  at a small size for an aloe that can grow 2+meter high.

Aloes are succulent plants, also known as fatplants. Given the right conditions they can be grown as a houseplant or as a potplant in the garden or greenhouse.
