This aloe is a very rewarding plant for the dry desert, xeriscape or succulent garden .
Aloe dichotoma is beautiful when young and absolutely impressive as it grows up.
Keep this succulent plant dry with good drainage by planting it on large stones.  Watch out for ants that carry aphids into the crown of Aloe dichotoma where rot will set in.  
Aloes are succulent plants, also known as fat plants. Even the quiver tree can be grown as a houseplant or as a pot plant in the home, garden or greenhouse.
