The hybrid is a beautiful tree aloe easy to grow from seed and it can withstand frost provided the plant is dry. This aloe is hardier than Aloe dichotoma which brings it within reach of many gardeners who would love to have this very special tree aloe in the garden. |

| It is still necessary to keep this tree aloe dry with good drainage by planting it on large stones. Watch out for ants that carry aphids into the crown of the aloe where rot will set in. | |
