Aloe hereroensis   from South Africa

The color of Aloe hereroensis plant is in soft pastel shades with bright flowers.
The habitat of Aloe hereroensis is mainly from Namibia into the Free State.  This is an attractive succulent aloe.
The racemes of Aloe hereroensis are capitated  and the color of the large flowers are bright orange, yellow or red.
Aloe hereroensis plants may have a short stem. The color of the lineated  leaves of Aloe hereroensis are pale shades of  green and blue.
This aloe does not form suckers or offshoots, but the plant may make two or three rosettes(heads).
Aloe hereroensis needs lime and very good drainage. 
This succulent plant will take temperatures from hot and dry  to frost,   that is - typical desert conditions. 
This aloe developed in a very dry habitat therefor it will absorb all water available, filling the leaves until it actually burst and rot.
Aloes are succulent plants, also known as fatplants. Given the right conditions they can be grown as a houseplant or as a potplant in the garden or greenhouse.

Aphids/ants:-  You may wash the plants with a dish washing liquid that contains lemon, but in the case of damage, where there are already a lot of aphids, it will be necessary to use a poison in powder form.  The danger of rot is high, keep the plant dry.
