| but it grows readily in garden conditions, even in
the winter rainfall area at the far south of South Africa. |
| The plant does not form offshoots or suckers and
grows to a height of 2 meter. |
| A.mawii is not frost resistant but it may
survive short dry cold spells in the protection of a garden. |
| It is hardy and a fast grower with no special skills
needed to keep this plant happy. |
| Aloes are succulent plants, also known as fatplants. These
plants save water and given the right conditions they can be grown as a houseplant or as a
potplant in the garden or greenhouse. |
