The rosette of this aloe has many thin narrow glaucus leaves and the dead leaves remain on the plant.  The stem of A.pretoriensis is short, about 1 meter
This is not a difficult aloe as it can with stand light frost in a dry winter and some moist conditions in summer.  Aloe pretoriensis grows in shade or full sun.   Keep in mind that shade and cooler conditions should go with less water
This aloe like other fatplants can grow happy in a container as a potplant - inside or outside the house.
