Aloe ramosisima - maiden quiver tree from South Africa

a tree aloe also at home in the arid desert world

Aloe ramosissima is a tree aloe easy to grow from seed up to a certain size, then it seems to stop growing.

This aloe is a very rewarding plant for the dry desert, xeriscape or succulent garden.
It  is a close relative of Aloe dichotoma but more difficult to grow in a wet climate.
Keep this succulent plant dry with good drainage by planting it on large stones.   Aloe ramosissima can withstand frost.
Aloe ramosissima  can be grown as a houseplant or as a pot plant in the home, garden or greenhouse but be very careful with the minimum water.  Let the water run through - do not stand the pot in a saucer.
