Aloe thraskii (South Africa) |
A robust tree aloe with lovely long recurving leaves. Also known as palm aloe. |
| Aloe thraskii is a coastal aloe from the east coast of South Africa. This succulent aloe can withstand more wet conditions than most aloes from Southern Africa |
| These photos were taken in a coastal town just north of Cape Town with plenty winter rain as well as rain showers in summer on the west coast of South Africa and Aloe thraskii is doing fine. |
| Aloe thraskii is a hardy aloe but not completely frost resistant. It will survive light frost but the flowers will not. |
