Aloe species and hybrids with photos, descriptions and cultivation tips of every aloe.

Aloes are succulent plants that grow in a wide range of conditions.
These plants are also known as fat plants.  If the climate is not ideal for aloes then it is easy to give the right conditions if they are grown as a houseplant or as a pot plant in the garden or greenhouse.  Keep in mind the plants need strong light and very little water.
Aloes are also used for health.   Make your own high quality skin cream.
