Groups of trees growing in unison are usually eye catching in Bonsai or in nature. The group can be in any bonsai style.
Three Ficus sp. trees upright style, the photo was taken in Naukluft, Namibia.  This species of Ficus trees can grow very high in the protection of the Naukluft Mountains. It is obvious where the top of the longest tree is cut off by the dry desert wind. Having grown past the protection of the cliffs it will now have a hard time to grow taller. I should have taken the photo a little higher but I did not think of it at the time.
