Here are seeds of aloe hybrids that are hardier and with better flowers than the species aloe plants.   Aloes are also known as   aloo, alo, aalwyn
Most of the time hybridizing  improves the aloe plant,  the flower and/or   the length of the time an aloe is in bloom.
The genes of an aloe species carry the information how to grow, when to bloom, growing conditions - in fact -  information on all aspects of the aloe plant's life.
When two different aloe species combine to form an aloe hybrid, the resulting genes end up with a wider range of options, thus making it easier for the aloe hybrid plant to adjust to cultivation and growing conditions. e.g. in the aloe succulent garden.

1000 seeds in bulk  = $30 - $40 (where available) US $
registered airmail post and packaging will be approximately $8.50 minimum
We are trying to keep the price as low as possible for all to enjoy the hobby with us, however we may have to adjust the postage price from time to time  - mainly due to the Rand Vs $ exchange rate.
We joined PayPal which should make payment cheaper and easier than money transfers.
If you have questions or prefer another form of payment, please e-mail us.

Aloe seeds  made by the birds and the bees
These seeds would be mainly pure species with a few hybrid surprises thrown in.  Ideal for the person who wants an assortment aloes for the garden.
We have grown some very nice aloe hybrids from these seeds.
Most bees do not buzz around wasting time, they usually stay in the group of flowers as long as there is enough pollen and nectar for their needs, but there are always those few bees who will make a quick stop at another group of flowers for whatever reason.
We have seeds made by the birds and bees,  of  the following species
Aloe affinis stemless plant.    large raceme, flowers dense. flowers open as raceme grows. long  flowering  time $2.50c
Aloe chabaudii this aloe makes very nice hybrids.  we make the marlothii  X chabaudii  hybrid on purpose pollinating by hand.
Aloe ferox the seeds are from the garden form with extremely long racemes
Aloe microstigma again - this is  mainly pure A.microstigma seeds with other aloe hybrid combinations done by the bees.
Aloe petricola same as above.  A.petricola is popular in hybrids as it improves the racememe
Aloe tenuior This bright yellow aloe blooms throughout the year.   Making seeds of this aloe is a lot of work.  It has very small seedpods with a few seeds per pod. I do  not have the patience to make even 100 seeds, the bees can do it better.
